My suspension has airbags that do not work properly. I know other Navigator owners that have the same problem. I have had it looked at and worked on but nothing changes.problem somewhere in the system. The airbags do not raise the car and it bounces around while driving. The car is hard to control
A popping sound came from beneath the hood of my 2003 Lincoln Navigator. After taking the car to my local Ford dealership service center, I learned that a spark plug ejected and damaged the cylinder head. The dealership is recommending a new engine for $7,5000 or replacing the cylinder head for $4,200. My vehicle is still covered by an extended warranty through ge capital. However, they refuse to repair the cylinder head (even though fully covered by the warranty) because the damage was caused by a spark plug, which is not covered.
Without warning the vehicle stalled while the consumer was driving at an undetermined speed. The consumer contacted the dealer on four separate occasions and the problem still continued. When idling the vehicle made a pressure like noise that would get louder, the low oil indicator light would come on, the valves had a tapping sound that was abnormal, there was a metal scraping sound which as if the bottom was going to drop out, there were exhaust noises along with a popping sound, and there was continuous stalling. The consumer stated there was an ongoing dispute regarding the odometer reading. Also the brakes and door locked never worked.
