This is 2020. In my new 2019 Nautilus the screen quality or resolution is absolutely terrible. There is no contrast and the picture is hazy.
2018 Jeep Cherokee is fully 125% better; no kidding.
I cannot see backing up because the screen is split with surround view. LISTEN, when I put the car in reverse the whole screen needs to be fully, clearly lit up; not the left hand side. I should hit a button to go to full surround view; Lincoln has this backwards. You have to hit the picture button to get full picture for reverse. Then when you get a full picture one realizes just how cheap the camera, resolution, and lack of pixels are.
This is especially relevant in view the Sirius Weather Map. One gets a washed out view of little squares, like 1992 technology. The weather screen on 2010 MKX was superior. 2018 Jeep Cherokee, again, 125% to 200% better. I would be embarrassed to have such a screen in a $30K vehicle, let alone a $70K vehicle.
