The contact owns a 2006 Lincoln Mark lt. The contact stated while driving 55 mph the engine lost power causing the vehicle to stall. The contact merged the vehicle onto the shoulder where it restarted immediately. The engine safe light illuminated each time the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was taken to the dealer three times for the failure. A diagnostic test was performed; however, there were no codes indicating there was a problem. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 43,000 and the current mileage was 90,300.

Lincoln Mark lt 2006. As my father proceeded down his drive-way stopping in front of his garage the truck suddenly accelerated in excess of 40 miles an hour. The truck went through the garage door hitting his Cadillac escalade, and pushing the escalade through the North wall of his garage. Estimated damage to garage, Lincoln, and escalade exceeds $30,000. Neither airbag deployed, and the only thing that saved him from going all the way through the garage was that the escalade took the force of the collision. Previously, my father had owned a Ford F150, and he also had unexplained acceleration that caused damage. Previous to the date of this accident my sister had borrowed the truck and when she slipped it into reverse the truck started to burn rubber as she was just trying to back out of her driveway. My oldest brother drove it last week in lynnwood, Washington at noon with my father to go to lunch, and was stopped at a light, the truck he told me just accelerated when he had his foot on the brake. Mt other brother had a similar experience when he and my father took a trip together. Ford/Lincoln has a serious problem, and you people seem to care less about addressing it. I have owned 1 Ford in my life, which I purchased at wilson Ford in 1987. The first year it was in the shop 21 times because of stalling at speeds over 30 miles an hour. My pregnant wife ended up crashing through a store front costing me and my insurance company 10,000's of dollars, not to mention almost my babies life. I was extremely interested in reading the other complaints about Ford 150's as it reminded me of what the service manager at wilson told me in all honestly. He said the manufacturer in 1987 had not even begun to correct the problems with the 1985 models. You have a problem that is getting worse.
