TSB Document:
Affected Component: BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA
- Summary
- Some 2019 Mustang, Continental, Fusion, MKZ, F150, Edge or Nautilus with SYNC 3 may have a symptom of a rear view camera that remain on the screen when moving forward above 5MPH or a solid blue screen once the vehicle is at cruising speed. Some vehicles may experience inoperative infotainment applications such as Apple CarPlay. To eliminate these symptoms from occurring, it is recommended to disable the Wi-Fi in the settings menu by selecting Automatic updates. Shut off system WIFI and then disable automatic updates. If the vehicle is stuck in the rear camera state you can exit this state by shutting the vehicle off and powering the system down for at least three minutes. Engineering is investigating, monitor OASIS for updates.
