While I was driving in the carpool lane going approximately 75-80 mph in the express lane on the 405 freeway in the city of los angeles the vehicle went into sudden de-exceleration to 20 mph without any warning. The car showed default codes and no matter what I did the car would not go any faster than 20 mph. I was able to pull to the side of the road and called for roadside assistance.
