Lincoln TSB #SSM 47756
2014 Lincoln MKZ
TSB Document:
Affected Component: EQUIPMENT
- Summary
- Some 2013-2014 Fusion and MKZ vehicles may not complete a PMI procedure when installing a FCIM. When this occurs, perform Module Reprogramming in IDS. If not prompted to enter as-built data, perform As-Built programming to finish configuring the FCIM. FCIM service stock is transitioning to the 2015 model year level FCIM, and the as-built data on the server has been updated for 2013-2014 model year vehicles to include an extra line of data to accomodate the change. However, some older FCIMs may still be received from service stock. If an older level FCIM is being installed, the PMI may fail and performing Module Reprogramming will correct the concern. Normal PMI procedure will complete on a 2015 FCIM.
