Leased Lincoln MKZ 2013 and have totaled 25,000 miles in three years. All four tires (MIchelin mxm4 Primacy Green 245-45R18) have worn prematurely to almost balding. I am hearing impaired/deaf and this is my first lease and of course a bit of communication gap, see now some are offered tire insurance. This wasn't offered to me, got the other package of additional insurance and would certainly have gotten tire insurance.
Having a communication gap is part of my problem, would think my salesman would go the extra mile when I asked about insurance, seems dealers have a deserved reputation for swindlers.
After hearing from several other Lincoln owners and a report here it seems Lincoln knows these tires under perform. After the debacle with GM you'd think this kind of thing wouldn't happen. Hope the bean counters @ Ford can count my never getting another Ford/Lincoln again.
These tires are almost balding and unheard of for 25,000 miles, the dealership isn't of much help because of my lack of insurance. Will put new tires on this car before turning it in but will never lease or buy another Lincoln vehicle again.
