There is something causing a consistent battery drain. It initially started draining the battery if the car sat for one day and just got progressively worse from there. It now will start after being jumped but will literally drain overnight. So I suspect whatever is causing the drain has now done damage to the latest battery. It has gotten to the point where the car has to be on the charger during the night just to get around during the day. I have also noticed stuff coming on and off without the key in the ignition.

What's been done;

1. Replaced the battery twice. Had them tested and bought a tester myself - Batteries are not the problem.

2. Took it to a Lincoln dealer to see if the alternator was bad or if there were parasitic drains. They put on it a computer overnight and they found nothing wrong. I had them replace the battery and the alternator anyway- Still the same problem.

3. Checked fuses and relays on my own with a voltmeter and power source - All good

4. Checked for lights (dome, trunks/hood) or anything that may be staying on when the car is off. Also checked for anything that should come on, but doesn't - Nothing.

5. Put a ammeter on the battery with the car off and waited for spikes or consistent draws. - Nothing.

Note: The only thing that has not been checked is the internal fuse box, but it's impossible without tearing the dash out because it's so high up the passenger side dash.

I am getting tired of being told there is no problem. I have run into people with 2009's and 2010's that have or had the same problem.The guys that HAD the problem traded the cars in to a Lincoln dealer and handed the issue to someone else. Which apparently is what will happen to me.

Why is this not being investigated ?!?
