The contact owns a 2010 Lincoln Mkz. The contact stated that the interior front driver side door handle fractured. The contact lowered the driver side window glass to access the exterior door handle in order to exit the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who replaced the door handle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 40,000.
