tail lights operate intermittently, don't work on cold days
Purchase vehicle in 2010 and after operating it for a couple of months my neighbor tells me the left tail light is not working. Took it to a dealer who informed it would cost over $400 for the part, plus labor to replace it.
Drove it to Florida without a problem. Checked tail lights and they were working.
This situation has duplicated over the past several years. Once we took it in to get it replaced and when the technician checked it the light worked!
Last September when it was safety inspected there were no problems - it worked. Today it is not working.
Now dealer tells me it will cost $600 to replace it. Any clues as to why it may work so sporadically?
