Fails to start, give "ODO data error" on text display at bottom of console. The check engine light is solid. Security system light blinks rapidly. If you wait a little bit the check engine light will blink 8 times and repeat. The security system light goes into a 1 blink,6 blink mode. If you turn the key off and on a few times the security system light will stay solid and the ODO data error isn't there and the milage appears and car will start.
The engine will stall out at random periods, sometimes it will continue running again if at speed. Once I was able to continue driving but it didn't allow me to accelerate, though it would maintain speed from going downhill. If it completely stalls out you must turn key off and on a few times to restart. Had engine light error code downloaded. Shop said it was a security error that will auto shut down the motor for theft protection. They reset it but the error returns.
