The contact owns a 2007 Lincoln Mkz. The contact stated that the key was extremely difficult to remove from the ignition. The contact stated that after numerous attempts on some occasions, the key could be removed from the ignition. In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle unintended accelerated while attempting to remove the key from the ignition. The contact mentioned that the vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign id number: 14E028000 (equipment). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 42,000.
The contact owns a 2007 Lincoln Mkz. The contact stated that the engine failed to operate once the ignition was started. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer where the battery was replaced. The failure recurred three times with the replacement of the battery each time. In addition, the front driver's side inferior power door lock failed to unlock.
