My defrost grill has cracked and become undone and the ip began to peel. The vehicle can lo longer keep fog clear or defrost the windshield in cold weather. Also the HVAC controls have suck in the ip and it is hard to get to the defrost button when needed for visibility. Yellow particles in the air when if defrost mode causing occupants to cough.

The contact owns a 2007 Lincoln Mkz. The contact stated that while closing the windows, they were scratched by an element inside the door panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection who stated that the window tray needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 62,143.
