Lincoln TSB #SSM 47205
2016 Lincoln MKX
TSB Document:
Affected Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
- Summary
- Some 2016-2018 MKX vehicles equipped with an intrusion sensor, built on or before 22-Feb-2018, may exhibit an inability to disable the intrusion sensor through the cluster alarm menu under vehicle settings. This may be due to a missing instrument panel cluster (IPC) menu selection to allow the intrusion sensor to be disabled. Reconfigure the IPC module using As-Built Programming. Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest data. For claiming, use causal part 10849 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
