Dealer says they can not find any problem. The car is less that 6 weeks old and 5 times the gas gauge has registered empty while driving, each time there was at least a half a tank of gas left. Once it corrected itself about 20 minutes later, the other times I have continued driving with multiple stop and starts before it corrects itself. Since it appears to be a computer issue of course it never happens while I am at the dealer.

This was the 2nd time this has happened. Stopped at a red light with over half a tank of gas when suddenly the gas gauge registered empty, zero miles left to empty, drove it 2 blocks to gas station and filled up, tank only held 9 gallons. After filling up, started car and gauge returned to full.

3rd time this has happened. driving with 3/4 tank of gas when it suddenly dropped to empty and starting beeping empty zero miles to empty. Kept driving and 15 minutes later gauge returned to 3/4 full. Drove it to dealer who said they could not do anything unless it was showing empty when I drove into the dealership so they could verify the problem.

4th time this has occurred since buying the car. Driving along with 1/2 tank of gas when suddenly the gauge dropped to empty, zero miles left to empty. Parked the car for about 30 minutes, restarted it and the gauge still said empty. I drove 26 miles when it suddenly began registering a 1/2 tank again
