2012 Lincoln Mkx. Consumer states problem with vehicle navigation system the consumer stated several months after purchasing the vehicle, he was provided with a disc with an updated program to simplify the use of the system and make it more user friendly. The system was installed by the dealer, but the system is still not user friendly and is a hazard to the driving public. The consumer stated once a driver was in a function, there was no cancellation button or end button in the navigation system, or the audio system, and on many occasions the phone system, without the driver being distracted and searching for the correct menu which obviously took the driver's attention off the road. In addition, whenever a function was changed, it was impossible not to activate the emergency blinker lights which caused confusion to other driver's behind him.
