My Lincoln shut down while I was driving it (which ultimately was best). The water pump failed all at once and the engine sucked all of the anti freeze into it and the car turned off. I had it towed to the dealership and did not get my car back for more than three weeks. The dealer said that I "got lucky" because they almost never do not need a new engine, however, he can not guarantee me that it will not ultimately fail! What! How lucky (and safe) do I feel? Not very!
Now this repair expense has been paid by my children for me and I can't pay them back because I am not a rich person at all and basically live from check to check. I still owe $8,000 on this car and the engine may or may not hang in there! What the hell is wrong with this picture? Ford needs to do something about this!!
