Takata recall we were notified of recall 6/2016. We have been in contact with our local Lincoln dealer as well as Lincoln customer service with no one knowing when the recalled airbag will be replaced. Our car insurance made copy of recall letter, put it in our file and said no passenger can ride in front passenger side seat. Husband drives car, wife sits in back seat, if wife takes friend to lunch friend sits in back seat, etc. It has been 15 months since recall with no information provided.

Takata recall - I received notice in June 2016 and have not received a fix to the airbag problem. The Lincoln garage in newport news says they can do nothing because they haven't received the part. I am concerned and would like to get the airbag fixed because we have a down syndrome granddaughter in the family.

Takata recall was issued in July 2016 by the Lincoln motor company. To date (8 months later), there has been no notice of when the airbag on the passenger side will be replaced. In the meantime, there are children and adults who ride in this potentially dangerous seat. In case of an accident, they could be seriously hurt or killed. Why has this not been taken care of?
