This seems to be a ongoing problem with Lincoln and Edge. When it's cold the dash light's come on and car can lose power and also no headlights or tail lights. It also can just lose power and maybe cost a life. I took off the battery cable and it reset the PC and I then drove it to Republic, MO. Lincoln where it now sets. This is a life taking problem and if you do a search, you will find many just like this. These, if not fixed, should be removed and Ford pay you retail on a new trade-in. Personally, I try and do most PM's as I know as a Engineer, when I'm finished it's fixed. Leaving it in the hands of a dealership and probably a high cost and still no repair will just end us in court.
I'm hoping that what I think is wrong will fix it. Not the battery, etc. However it's probably the main PC that controls everything, even though there are other sensors before that could be bad. Battery is new (2 weeks) Checked out perfect in front of me and also had them plug-in and found no errors. That leads me to believe that if only in cold weather it does it, it's like a normal PC when the Temp. drops below 32, it just has strange and hard to fix problems anywhere in the system. I guess we will see...
