The MKX has a small back window and the mirror dim sensors are at the bottom of the rear-view mirror. As a result, the sensors cannot see the lights of a car directly behind you if the second seat headrest is up. The MKX is sold as a 5 passenger car, but only if you drive during the day! At night, it is a 4 passenger car. What kind of Neanderthal engineering department doesn't check to see if the rear seat headrest blinds and mirror dim sensors. I have owned a dozen or more Lincoln's over the years and this MKX is the runt of the litter and the last straw. I'm going foreign next time and never returning. The Japanese and the Germans know how to engineer a complicated machine. Ford doesn't have a clue. They better hope I don't have a night accident before I trade it in or my lawyer is going to have a field day!
