This picture is of our 2013 Lincoln MKT livery Town Car. As stated from the other many complaints on this site, The glass panoramic roof on the car shattered into a minion tiny pieces suddenly without warning or reason during a rain storm. The car didn't hit anything, nothing hit the car, there was no accident, it just exploded. Thankfully the headliner was closed and so glass did not fly into anyone's face, and no one was injured, but this is clearly a safety concern and a major parts defect that Lincoln needs to address and follow up on. These cars should be recalled and the glass roofs should be replaced. It's dangerous and I guess that someone at Lincoln thinks it's ok to wait until this happens and causes someone to die. My MKT has just over 100k miles on it and I was told by Lincoln that it's "out of warrantee" so they can not cover the damage even though incident was not caused by an accident or a force of nature. Please do something about this Lincoln and honor your customers. I will NOT purchase another Lincoln again.
