I purchased this vehicle a little over a month ago (7-3-15). The third week of having the vehicle it lost power and shut off in the middle of the highway. No warning, just shut off. We turn the car off and turn it back on. We were able to drive it to the gas station however we had to use a second car behind us with flashers on because the car was not able to pick up speed. Once to the gas station we turn it off and turn it back on and it worked as if nothing happened.
We then took the car back to the dealership. They kept the car for a couple of hours and stated they found no problem with it. Fast forward to (8-8-15) it happened two times. Today my intentions were to call the dealership and discuss other options with them; however on my way to work it shutdown again in the middle of traffic. This time I had to turn it off and on a couple of times before it sounded as if it was ok. I then made a U turn and took the car to the dealership.
I am waiting now for them to call and say there is nothing wrong with the car. Now just imagine if I was on a highway and a semi truck was behind me..I am really scared to drive this car.
