Was warned about the running hot. Put it on a store bought computer reader. Says it passes for inspection, all systems in the green. Everything running great.
Then I notice it was getting hot. Sitting idle, a/c on and the needle was in the H. Shut everything down, turned off the climate controls and noticed it started going down. Anything to do with it? Who knows.
Went about my afternoon. In the evening, got on the parkway, cruised with the flow of traffic. Squeezed the pedal a little to move ahead of the crowd. Got off and then the it started getting hot again. Oh crap.
Pulled over went it got hot again, shut everything down and just before I shut off the motor, POP goes the antifreeze from the reserve cover... gave it 20 min. Then acted like nothing happened.
What the hell is going on here?!?
