My vehicle started knocking and what appears to be slipping and knocking loudly when accelerating. The vehicle intermittently, has this mechanical problem. I've taken the vehicle to the dealership twice in the past year for this problem..... They are telling me they can't fix the problem, it doesn't hesitate, knock, or slip when they attempt to diagnosis the problem. I'm no mechanic however I do know the vehicle has a power train or transmission problem.
I searched the web, and much to my surprise I discovered this model has a service bulletin, similar to the problem I'm experiencing. The vehicle is still under warranty, however the dealership doesn't seem to want to go the distant to resolve the problem. Now that I have this information regarding the service bulletin, I'll take the vehicle to another dealership. Oh! by the way the dealership is Boyd's Ford in Oxford NC. I'll graciously accept anyone's advise on how to get this resolved.
