The contact leased a 2010 Lincoln Mks. The contact stated that when the push to start button was depressed, the radio would engage as opposed to the vehicle. The contact stated that he would have to depress the button twice before the vehicle would start. In addition, the contact was unable to load cd's into the cd player. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed that the cd's were the cause of the cd player failure. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that shortly after, the failure recurred and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer where the contact was informed that the alternator was the cause of the failure. The alternator was repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 100 and the current mileage was approximately 5,500. Updated 1/25/11 updated 02/04/11
