The contact owns a 2009 Lincoln Mks. The contact stated that while driving at speeds of 40 mph, he attempted to change lanes and noticed that the rear head restraint was blocking his line of vision. The head restraint caused a blind spot on both sides of the rear windows. The dealer was notified and they advised removing the head restraints or adjusting them in a lower position. The manufacturer advised having the dealer offer their assistance. The contact stated that neither the dealer nor the manufacturer had been able to assist him. The failure mileage was 9,000 and the current mileage was 9,800.
