In a Technical Bulletin (22-2229) dated June 9, 2022 it indicates that the '2.0L Ecoboost: Coolant in Cylinders' which has caused a misfire, rough idle, smoking and lacks power.
I have a 2017 Lincoln MKC and I attempted to reach out to my local dealership to inquire about any recalls, but that individual was not aware of any pertaining to my issue. I then reached out to the NHTSA, but they also did not have any listed as well, so I left a complaint after reviewing numerous other complaints and issues. FORD should have definitely had a recall by now based on the Lincoln Forum. In some cases, the warranty ran its course, so why should the consumer be responsible for a problem that FORD apparently WAS very much aware of and places the burden on us!
Is anyone aware of any legal action that has taken place, if not why hasn't one been started?
