Out lf nowhwere with 68,000 miles on my vehicle the transmission basically failed about 12 miles from my house. A wrench came on and by the time I made it home I could barelt make it up the driveway. For this mileage this is ridiculous and I have read online about many other people reporting the same issues.

My car shakes and hesitates at times, especially when going uphill or when it is attempting to shift gears. This has put me and my passengers at risk as my car will not pick up, and other vehicles behind me have been forced to brake suddenly or swerve as my car has become an obstacle in front of them. I've been told that it's the transmission. I've also been told that this is a VERY common problem with 2015 Lincoln MKCs and that Lincoln knows about it but REFUSES to issue a recall. He knows of at least 4-5 Lincoln MKCs that have this problem--and he is a small repair shop. Car owners should not be forced to pay thousands of dollars for a new transmission when Lincoln knows that this is a problem specific to the 2015 Lincoln MKC. This happens all of the time and has been occurring for quite a while now.

This vehicle with less than 100,000 miles, that is less than 8 years old has an engine failure. This is due to a design defect which is known to Lincoln and Ford Motor Company as they have a technical service bulletin in regards to the coolant intrusion and engine failure. Lincoln is doing nothing to help fix the car with a faulty engine. This car will sputter when accelerating.

Automatic shift lever bushing broke disconnecting the shifting cable from shift arm. Immediately disabled vehicle while in motion. There has already been a recall for this for Ford products of this era, why not Lincolns? Very dangerous if this had happened at high speed!

When starting the vehicle the wrench light appears and also the advance autotrac warning. Also my signal lights blink very fast. They both go off for awhile and the signal lights blink slow again, but will reappear once starting the vehicle again. Car seems to stall when this happens. Dealer says they can't find and issue and bulbs seem to work fine.

I've brought my car back numerous times for the same problem, a problem that began within the first month or purchase. I've asked for documentation off all the 'repairs' to no avail. Some of the ways the problem presents its self include the following- soon after starting the car & beginning the drive it completely stalls and shuts off, it could take numerous tries before restart. Or other times while driving it suddenly slows down and shuts off in the middle of traffic, with my children in the car, this happened and it would not restart! I had to push it to the adjacent gas station and wait almost 2 hours for dealers repair to send a tow truck. The other way this issue manifests itself is after filling the tank with gas. It starts, sputters and shuts off! the last time I brought it in they refused a rental, took about 6 weeks to repair. I had to pay out of pocket for a rental. They finally reimbursed me but it took weeks after the 6 weeks of shelling out well over $1,000

On April 14, 2017, at 9:10 P.M., on my way home, I pulled up to our townhome mail box center, put my car in park, unhooked my seat belt and got out of the car in order to get my mail. I left my car door open as I was only going to get the mail and get back in, as I have done thousands of times. Right after I got out of the car, I realized the car was rolling back. Instinct had me running after the car trying to hold on to the door in an attempt to get back into the car and put my foot on the brake. I got around the door but could not hold on. The door knocked me backwards onto the street and the car passenger front tire ran over my left foot and my right thigh. I had a severe laceration on the back of my head that required 2 staples. I also had a broken left toe and a severely bruised foot and ankle. My right thigh swelled to at least double its size with bad contusions. Knee became very swollen, especially in the back also with bad contusions. Residual effects are still in existence with pain in my leg and continued swelling. Thankfully, the car veered to the left as it rolled down the street and hit into a rock wall in the complex. Therefore no one else was injured and no parked cars were hit. I took the car to the dealership where I leased it on May 3, 2018 as I was too injured previous to that time to go out. The service manager wrote up the information about the accident and said he would be submitting it to the Ford Motor Company. They held the car until June 7, 2017 when I was told that Ford was denying my claim of fault with the car. Since it was leased, I had no recourse except to have the car fixed and continue to drive it. I was scared every day I drove that car until I got rid of it for another type car.

I am the owner of a 2015 Lincoln Mkc with 50,406 miles with a bad transmission. The car would 'jerk' as it automatically shift into gear when driving on a highway or on a local road. This is a serious problem for any driver.having a 2015 model car with 50,406 miles having a transmission rebuilt, the safety of this car need to be investigated.

I drove to the end of my driveway which is approximately 1000 feet. I came to a complete stop, got out of the vehicle with the expectation that it went into park because this is a safety feature of this vehicle that I have used many times without issue and it is listed as such in my owner's manual. I stood there beside the vehicle to allow two cars to pass on the highway before walking across the highway to check my mail. I collected my mail and turned around to cross the highway to return to my vehicle and I saw the vehicle coming across the road towards me. I jumped out of the way of the vehicle just in time before it struck my mailbox. As a result the front grill is damaged. I feel fortunate that I turned around in time to get out of the way because I could have been hurt or killed if the vehicle had struck me.
