Transmission went out at 84.000 miles. Contacted Ford Lincoln Co. They said they would contact owners if there was ever a recall but for now I would have to pay all cost for any repairs. There have been a number of complaints from owners about this same problem but Ford/Lincoln refuse to address this issue with this make of car, the Lincoln LS v6/v8 automatic transmission models 02-05. There are no laws to help the consumer because who can afford to fight Ford/Lincoln Motor co.
