Seat belts made popping noise while driving and froze up. Not able to pull down. Air bag warning light stays on. Both happened within days of each other
: the contact stated the vehicle's airbag light illuminated while driving 30 mph. Also, the seat memory lock that sets the preferred seating position of the front driver side failed. The memory lock was located on the front driver side door. On 08/22/06, the vehicle was taken to the dealer who determined that both problems were manufacturer defects. The manufacturer was contacted and expressed that a solution was not available.
Lincoln Ls, 2001 model, VIN last digiits, 701318. Rear seats will not properly latch causing the seats to fold down unexpectedly. Lincoln will not replace under warranty. Lincoln says the latches are not defective! see article in www.ajc.com, March 2004....jury awards $42 million to family of girl!
