Lincoln TSB #SSM 51406
2021 Lincoln Corsair
TSB Document:
Affected Component: SEATS
- Summary
- Some 2020 2022 Corsair vehicles may exhibit a condition where the front driver seat does not move to the correct memory position. This condition occurs when the user adjusts the front driver seat horizontally and programs the desired position. This may be due to an improper software change in the driver front seat module (DSM). To correct this condition, using Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool program the DSM to the latest software level and reevaluate the concern. If the concern persists or no update is available, replace the DSM module and update the software. 2020 Corsair vehicles with older DSM assemblies may not show this software update. Refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-10A Front Seats. For claiming, use causal part number 14C708 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards.
