Lincoln TSB #SSM 50478
2021 Lincoln Corsair
TSB Document:
Affected Component: EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER
- Summary
- Some 2020-2021 Corsair vehicles may exhibit air conditioning (A/C) condensation leaking onto the passenger floor making the carpet wet. This may be due to a hole created at the bottom of climate control housing caused by a difficult to remove retainer located on the side of the center console trim panel. There is a pin type retainer that attaches the side trim panel to the climate control housing, it must be cut prior to removal otherwise it could damage the climate control housing resulting in a condensation leak to the interior. The fuse block cover needs to be removed before accessing the right hand side trim panel. Refer Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-12 for the proper removal procedure.
