Lincoln TSB #TSB 20-2265
2020 Lincoln Corsair
TSB Document:
Affected Component: EQUIPMENT
- Summary
- Some 2020 Escape/Corsair vehicles equipped with an 8F24, 8F35 or 8F40 transmission may exhibit an unable to engage park condition with an illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) lamp and diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P07E4 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) memory. There will also be a shift system fault warning message displayed and the electronic parking brake will be automatically applied when park is requested. This condition may be caused by an incorrect underhood section of the transmission park manual release cable or due to the underhood section of the transmission park manual release cable not in the proper stowed position. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure steps to inspect the operation of the transmission park manual release cable and if necessary, replace the transmission park manual release cable.
