The contact moved his foot closer to the accelerator pedal and was able to depress the brake pedal. The contact stated that the failure recurred several times. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, he was unable to locate the brake pedal while attempting to depress the brake pedal. The contact veered across two lanes to prevent a crash. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 18,000.
