Some 2017-2018 Lincoln Continental vehicles equipped with easy entry/exit seats may exhibit a concern where the driver seat only moves 1 inch (2.5 cm) during easy entry/exit instead of the full 2 inches (5 cm). This may be due to the software in the driver seat module (DSM). To correct the condition, connect a battery charger and reprogram the DSM using the latest software level of the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool.
