Lincoln TSB #SSM 47659
2018 Lincoln Continental
TSB Document:
Affected Component: SEATS
- Summary
- Some 2018 Continental vehicles built between 27-Feb-2018 and 06-Jun-2018 may exhibit incorrect operation of the drivers seat easy entry/exit function. With easy entry/exit configured ON, the seat may incorrectly move forward when the ignition is turned OFF. Correct operation is for the drivers seat to move rearward after turning the ignition OFF. To correct this condition, reprogram the driver seat module (DSM) using the latest software level of the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool. For claiming use causal part 14C708 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
