- Summary
- Some 2017-2018 Continentals my exhibit a squeak or creak at or near the door check strap when opening or closing the driver or passenger front doors. The origin of the noise may be due to a loose or improperly retained door panel push pin(s). If the door panel is found to be loose, remove the affected door panel and inspect the panel push pins for damage. If no damage is indicated re-install the door panel and ensure that the panel push pins retain the panel securely. The black push pin near the speaker opening may require additional pressure to ensure it is fully seated. If damaged push pins are found, replace the affected push pins and reinstall the panel.
