The moon roof was replaced because the motor did not work, the air bags were replaced several times, and the light did not illuminate. When the vehicle was returned to the consumer, the horn did not work, there was a chiming noise every 30 minutes, and also the air bags did not deploy when the vehicle was involved in an accident. The fuel pump was replaced twice, the driver side window was off track, the speakers did not work, the vehicle vibrated when a stop was made.
The instrument panel could not be seen by the driver because of the suns reflection on the dashboard. Ph the consumer notified the dealer several times in a letter about not being able to read the speedometer in the sun light. Since October 2002 they have 3669 miles on the speedometer. The consumer feels unsafe in driving the vehicle and Ford needs to let the consumers know that this problem can't be fixed before serious damages occurs. The consumer was required to wear sunglasses that will shield his eyes from glare, so when he wore them he as unable to read the speedometer.
