My service representative was aware of the problem had been confronted with the rear view mirror prob several times.
It was not covered under my extended warranty according to the administrators at Ford's ESP center.
I called around to 10 states, spoke with service representatives at different dealerships and the rear view mirror problem is well known to the mechanics. and to Ford who insist on putting defective parts into their automobiles.
After owning 4 Lincolns over the last 12 years. I now know that my next car has to be a foreign made automobile.
Personaly, I will pay more for peace of mind than be nickled and dimed because Ford Motor Company accepts merchandise from the lowest bidder rather than the highest quality product.
