Lincoln TSB #SSM 49289
2020 Lincoln Aviator
TSB Document:
Affected Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
- Summary
- Some 2020 Aviator vehicles equipped with a hybrid powertrain may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U3012 stored in the battery energy control module (BECM) after charging the high voltage battery with an electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) cord and/or DTC P0D5C stored in the secondary on-board diagnostic control module A (SOBDM). This may be due to the software in the SOBDM. To correct the condition, reprogram the SOBDM with the latest software level of the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool. For claiming, use causal part 10B689 and applicable labor operation in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
