piston is shot on #8 spark plug
I had problems with my engine in june of 2011.I had my engine looked at by Gengas Lincoln Dealership in East Hartford Ct. My Cylinder #5 was shot and the engine head need to be fixed. That ended up costing me $3000.00. I had it fixed and i got my car back from them in July 2011. In October 2011 my engine light comes on again this time they told me it cylinder #8 ( and this cylinder is on the same side as of cylinder #5). They told me that this had nothing to do with the first problem that i had in June of 2011 i feel that it do see that the cylinder is on the same side as the first one. I then had a camera scope done on my engine and i found out that it was cylinder #8 piston was shot. I have not fixed the problem as of yet and ford has no recall on this problem.
