I have been attempting to get some type resolution from Lexus.com with a car I purchased used from another party. Lexus is wanting $2,400 m/l for the left and right rear wheel bearings and the AFS control for the headlights. I have had numerous vehicles well in excess of 200K miles. I have owned Acura vehicles and was always well taken care of. I began to look again after mistakenly purchasing a Mercedes SUV. I looked at the Acura, Infinity, and Lexus. I decided on the Lexus because it was to have up to 40 miles to the gallon. Shortly after I purchased the vehicle at over $21K vehicle and sales tax the rear end began to make a loud roaring noise and the moving headlights did not work. I will admit. I am not the usual Lexus vehicle owner. I do not have a large income but appreciate nice things. I was treated as if I was "ghetto" and did not deserve respect. Because I did not purchase a vehicle from Lexus and it was not new or near new I did not deserve any respect or consideration or assistance in this large repair bill. It made me feel unwelcome and that I do not belong anywhere near a Lexus dealership. I have attempted to contact Mr. Mark Templin but to no avail. I was contacted by a gentleman who stated he was calling on behalf of Mr. Templin on 10/18/2012. He treated me as a lower class citizen. He was arrogant and condescending and told me I did not deserve any consideration for assistance. I felt this unacceptable as I am not an ignorant person and I deserve respect. Just because I do not earn a lot of money does not make me low class. I do not deserve to be a Lexus customer because I do not make a lot of money to purchase a new or near new vehicle.
