I-??ve approximately the last 45 thousand miles, Lexus dealers have replaced the brake actuator and other components of the brake system on this vehicle at least 6 times due to noise issues. Lexus has stated that this is not a safety issue, I have an open ticket with Lexus, but yesterday I had to slam on the brakes and did not get nearly the response that should have come right away. There are no warning lights, as far as I can tell the traction control didn-??t engage, and eventually the car suddenly started breaking much harder, but it was very delayed l, and disproportionate with any additional force applied. Lexus knows the brake system is an issue in this model to the point where they are covering the system for 10 years or 150,000 miles, but to say that it isn-??t a safety issue seems short-sighted. This system works in conjunction with the radar sensors adaptive cruise control, and I-??ve had. This car has also had a number of seeming electrical issues, with every door lock actuator replaced at least once, some of them more than once, and the infotainment system shuts down and reboots randomly or freezes.

At the initiation of braking effort by pressing the pedal, there is a noise. This noise goes away completely beyond a point of compressing the brake pedal and even before complete braking. Lexus dealer said it was brake actuator. Repairing it is labor intense and costs $3800. However not a safety concern and can be driven. He did offer to do regular maintenance of topping off fluid, multi-point inspection, tire rotation package. I saw there were recalls and complaints about the same problem with other year's Lexus models. Can you investigate this and let us know if we can avail a recall fix for this? Thank you for your time. Lexus 2019 RX350 driving down hill with adaptive cruise control on tries to keep speed set at 72mph but as going down hill car gains speed so adaptive cruise control applies brakes to slow down. After 1-2 mile of downhill driving the car starts to vibrate severely until ADC is turned off allowing brakes to cool. Brakes seem normal as they slow car down without the vibration. Engaging ADC starts the whole process over again while going down hill. ADC does not cause vibration if on normal level or slightly downgrade sloping road.

The accident happened on 12/28/22. At 8:50 am, I was picking up a friend and was leaving the parking lot. My friend got in and and then opened the door to lock it again. My foot was on the gas pedal trying to leave the parking lot. The car jumped and went to the opposite side. I turned the steering wheel to keep it from hitting an object but could not get any control on the car. The car kept accelerating and I had to put the car back into park to stop the car. The acceleration was so much that the car jumped the curb and stopped by a wall. The air bags opened up.

On a recent 2500 mile trip on 3 separate occasions while on interstate hiways and passing a vehicle the emergency braking system engaged automatically with warning lights and buzzers going off. This occurred with no other vehicles anywhere around for a quarter mile or more. On one occasion it occurred while driving in the right lane and with no vehicles in sight. Lexus special tech inspected the vehicle and had some calibrations performed but they will not tell me what they found in data captured by the vehicle computer or what actions they took and why they think the vehicle is safe to drive.

Vehicle vibrates when braking, brake pedal pulsates as well when braking, such decreasing the ability for vehicle to stop appropriately. Every 6,000 miles rotors warp badly and need to be changed with normal driving habits. Lexus must recall these defective rotors as they could affect the ability for the vehicle to stop

Car was pdi and delivered on 06/14/20 with an open recall 20la01 that was likely to be a life-threatening issue. Even after pdi was performed, the breaks were disfunctional, so had to take the vehicle for service on 06/19/20. Lexus found that rotors required resurfacing to fix the breaks and at the same time completed the open recall 20la01. However on 07/03/20, the car stalled in the middle of a highway traffic putting the pax thru a life-threatening situation. Car has been finally towed to the service and I am verbally promised that the car has been fixed to not present any life threatening issues. Since it is just 15 days of purchase and vehicle been into the service review for 3 times with some life-threatening open issues, I am requesting Lexus to either refund or provide me a replacement.
