When accelerating from stop (between the 2nd and 4th gear at around 1,500-1,800 RPM), the car shudders and vibrates violently. We are not sure if it's a problem with the engine or the transmission. It feels as though the vehicle is experiencing difficulty finding the right gear. The gear shift is very awkward too. It accelerates rapidly in certain gears (by this I mean the RPM spikes up HARD) but in other gears it's VERY slow. For example, the 2nd gear may pass very quickly by spiking up its RPM, but the 3rd gear passes very slowly, hence causing that violent shuddering/vibration of the ENTIRE vehicle. Such inconsistent gear shifts makes this car VERY unpleasant to drive.

We live in Vancouver Canada and got this car off the Port Moody Lexus Dealership. (Yes, I am calling you guys out) We took it to the mechanics MULTIPLE times for this issue, but they ALWAYS say "it's normal", as if they don't want to deal with the issue. If the car is shuddering/vibrating violently to the point where your feet feel NUMB after awhile, that is NOT normal. That, or the vehicle is just HORRIBLY made.

We have been dealing with Lexus for almost 10 years now, but RX350 has by far been the WORST. I also found that the staff (Port Moody Lexus Dealership especially) are very poorly trained as well. Instead of resolving the issue, they would rather argue with you to avoid any troubles.

I would NEVER recommend anybody getting this vehicle, at least until Lexus decides to fix this. This vehicle is NOT worth the money, for the price does not match the quality. Most users of RX350 have similar problems and you can tell by the similarity of issues experienced by the posts on this website AND other websites too.
