I was driving on the highway around 3:30 PM towards the airport to catch a flight to travel overseas and suddenly I heard a loud noise as if something exploded. I immediately stopped on the shoulder and checked and found that the sunroof of my vehicle had exploded and glass shattered. Since the sunroof had broken, the drive back home was horrible due to the wind noise. As per weather report it was supposed to rain the next few days so I couldn't take my vehicle and park at the hotel parking lot as the rain water will enter inside causing more damage. I had to come back home and take my wife's car as I had to park my vehicle at one of the hotels parking lot outside (non-covered parking).
