The contact owns a 2013 Lexus Rx 350. While driving approximately 70 mph on a highway, the sun roof fractured without warning. There were no injuries. The dealer (gettel Toyota of charlotte county, 1801 tamiami trail, punta gorda, fl 33950, (941) 347-6867) replaced the part. The contact was uncertain as to what caused the failure and if it would recur. The dealer and the manufacturer stated there was no recall so the contact was advised to replace the part. The vehicle was repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 39,000.
