I purchased a certified used 2008 Lexus RX 350 from a dealer in Melbourne Florida. I performed all of the maintenance on the vehicle to maintain the certifier pre owned warranty, just not at this dealership. at 100,100 miles, I noticed that the passenger rack and pinion boot was shredded and called to have the dealer look into it. The car was 100 miles out of warranty and they refused to repair it. Their excuse was that if I had brought my vehicle into their dealership for all of the previous maintenance and they were able to profit from my service, they would be more likely make an exception and repair the vehicle. In addition, I have a consistent issue with the vehicle showing as aligned but still pulls to the right. They cant figure this out and still working to get it resolved at a local auto repair facility in my town. It sounds like alignmemts on this car are an inherent problem.
