My 2006 RX 300 has a crack in the radiator on the passenger side which I have read also occured in the 204-05 models that were recalled. Anyone have any luck in having Lexus step up to the plate to cover repair costs? Unheard of in a car with under 100,000 miles!

Finding out this was a recall for 2004 and 2005 RX330's. Sounds like there should be an investigation and a recall issued for 2006. Unreal that this happened under 100,000 miles!!

2004 AND 2005 LEXUS RX330's had a recall on the radiators for splliting on the bottom seam. All parts suppliers state that the 2004-2006 Lexus RX330 uses the same radiator yet Lexus states the 2006 RX330 uses a different radiator that cost $456 at a discount. The 2004 and 2005 cost $150-$180. I would like to know if other people out there that this happen with their 2006 Lexus RX330. I wrote to Lexus and they took months to get back with me after I hounded them and then they wanted all kinds of documentation. The vehicle had just over 67k miles when this occurred and Lexus finally said they would not help. The regular warranty is 60k miles.

I will never buy another Lexus after this. I asked for them at least to pay for the radiator and they refused. I believe they are covering up a defect in the 2006 radiators.
