We own two Lexus SUV's and have been extremely pleased with Lexus quality and service. We were surprised that a radiator would fail under 100000 miles.
Upon investigation we were even more surprised that this problem resulted in a recall on the previous year's models and that it was not uncommon on the 2006 Lexus RX330.
We are retirees who bought these cars because of their excellent reliability and reputation, and we certainly didn't anticipate this expense.
We are currently in contact with Lexus to determine if they are willing to do anything in this situation.
My RX330 2006 Radiator has a leak at 73,800 miles. I read 2004-05 models with the same problem have been recalled. I have called Lexus to see if they are willing to fix the problem and I am waiting to hear back if they are willing to have it towed to the nearest Lexus dealership 1.5 hours away. Anyone else have luck?
