I was pulling into a parking space at a gas station and the vehicle took off at a fast speed and I could not stop the vehicle, the -??parking assist light came in saying parking assist malfunction, I tried braking and nothing, the car kept going I hit something then it stop as I put the gear in park, the passenger electrical window won-??t operate from the driver side, Lexus refused to take responsibility of an electrical problem occurred as the vehicle malfunctioned, at the shop they claimed nothing was wrong, with breaks or no electrical problem, there is something wrong with a part that causes difficulty getting the tire off and in turn damaging the tire, this was told to me be a auto repair shop, Lexus did nothing to take responsibility nor did they treat me well, as if I just decided to ram my car into something, I later read other reports where this vehicle had same problem with the vehicle just taking off and driver unable to stop the vehicle, I only had the car for about 4 months, and theirs all happened, I was afraid to drive it for awhile, but they wouldn-??t even swap the car out for another

I stepped out of my car in our condo complex after parking. and turned off the engine only after i stepped out completely. vehicle starts rolling. I opened the door so wide, in panicked jumped back with right leg pressing on the break/ turning engine, shift gear to park, as i have no control over the door. As i am trying to hold on the steering wheel and doing all the actions mentioned above, the door swung hard with my leg on it while the car is in rolling motion. It did stop, almost hitting the parked pickup car. damaged the door and the front fender. Dont recall exactly what happened, it possible that i may have turned it off while it is in drive (?) but vehicle is not moving. Lexus a luxury car made it too convenient with auto parking brake, doesn-??t not have a safety feature to prevent roll off accident when vehicle is at full stop and engine turned off.(unlike prius). Repair estimated at $3,000-$5,000.

Trim around front center A/C cracked. I sat in parked and heard a crack. I assume it was due to heat from sunlight. Cracked after less than 2 years of ownership. Bought brand new. Area around cup holder also cracked after about 1.5 years of ownership. Contacted Lexus about this but nothing was done. They said they would get back to me but that was 1 year ago.

After replacing tires, at highway speeds the car shakes. Replaced the replacement tires with a different manufacturer and tread type and still have the same vibration at the same speed(s). Tire place put a total of 10 tires on the vehicle to no avail and road force balanced the tires. Recommended I take the vehicle to the dealership. The Lexus dealership said that only the exact tires that came on the car would guarantee the car wouldn't shake. They roadforce blanched the same tires and came up with vastly different results 2 weeks apart. When asked what would happen when the tires that came on the vehicle would be discontinued there was no response. So, in short, Lexus has made a vehicle that, once the oem selected tires are discontinued, will no longer provide a smooth ride.

Vehicle self-started while unattended. After start#2 car was checked for dash lights and running engine when left. Upon return the gas tank was half used and car was running. This occurred twice more. Car parked in a public parking area-it has yet to happen in our driveway, but after reading about people forgetting to turn off their pushbutton start autos and succumbing to exhaust gas I wonder if they really forgot or the car self started like ours..
